So, I just got a job at a greenhouse and so far I love it! I just got the job last Friday and the next day I came to work. The day started out fine, I was planting seedlings on a conveyor belt until 3 pm (pretty mind numbing after awhile) and then this volunteer firefighter comes in and tells us to evacuate the building!! 0_0 Aaaaaaagh!
So we all went out to where he told us to go, then in a few minutes the boss came along and told us to go out to the parking lot, so we did. Then awhile later the firefighter came back and told us to go back where he told us! Yikes! :P
And so we all went outside and where we were at had a pretty good view of the flames, it was a pretty huge fire! And it just kept on coming closer and closer! It was only about 80 feet from the greenhouse when it went out. There was a sort of slew there and it was wet enough to stop it I guess! Whew!
I was afraid I might not have a job to come back to on Monday! But we all got a nice 30 minute break! :D
