The Story of My Summer

So, I worked at a greenhouse then I worked at a summer camp in the mountains of B.C. and then I came home to discover that my parents bought a house and in the garage they found this:

Then we were shopping for home renovation stuff and I found this on sale for...I think it was $15!

...Then I decided to re-finish my desk for my new room...

.....and it turned out like this....

....because I used this...

...then I made a coconut-banana-cream-four-layer-cake with a pansy on the top...

.....it was sooooo DELICIOUS!!!!....

...then my mom made some amazing borscht!....

....then I was at Value Village with my friend and sister and I found this fantastic dress...which fit amazingly!...

....then I said "goodbye" to rural Alberta and left for Halifax...

...in Halifax I learned how to wind a warp for weaving...

....and thread the headles and the reed!....

...to be continued....

High fashion from Tyvek

High fashion from Tyvek: “interseasonal” dress “Rhyth of Paper” by Israeli designer Gila Martuzana (Hila Martuzana)

This is a really interesting page about tyvek used in high fashion, which is perfect because I found some metalic tyvek at the fabric store and I bought....well, kind of a coupoius amount of it....so I hope it works out! 0_0 .....slightly concerned...but I will make it work :)
